We make our own moulds in-house and control every aspect of production in our 25,000 sq. ft. production facility. Our in-house mould shops offer fast turnaround on custom forms and form modifications. Our long-standing relationships with our partner suppliers ensure our clients the highest standards when it comes to our formwork and formwork is the foundation for successful precast. We have complete steel fabrication and finishing carpentry shops and are capable of in-house rubber formwork as well.

From preassembled picnic tables delivered on-site in record time, to thousands of custom pavers to match a historical colour blend from the 1970’s, concrete is an amazing material and we love working with it.
Sanderson Concrete initially began as a small plastics manufacturer with a minor division dedicated to precast concrete. In the early 1980s, Svend Arntorp, a Danish engineer working for the company, learned of plans to close the precast operation to focus solely on plastics. Recognizing the potential in concrete, Svend made an offer to purchase that portion of the business. Within five years, the plastics manufacturing ceased, but Svend's vision for the precast business flourished. By 1994, the company had outgrown its North Shore facility, prompting a strategic relocation to Surrey.
In 1994, Svend's new 2.5-acre facility began to take shape. What started with simple planters, pots, water fountains, and basic drainage products experienced significant product line growth over the next decade. The business underwent massive infrastructure upgrades, adding a new batch plant, carpentry shop, steel shop, overhead cranes, and a sandblasting pit. In the early 2000s, Svend's transitioned ownership to his son, Jan Arntorp, who partnered with Jamie Allen. Together, they increased annual business volume tenfold through continuous reinvestment back into the company.
These strategic reinvestments yielded tremendous results. Sanderson's portfolio expanded rapidly, and our manufacturing capabilities evolved significantly. By introducing custom forming in our fabrication shops and integrating advanced CNC machining for rubber, foam, and steel forms, Sanderson began producing complex custom precast solutions that outpaced industry competitors. From advanced custom forming and engineered mix designs to premium finishes, Sanderson truly began to stand out in the market.
In 2022, Balraj Mann of the BM Group recognized the value in Sanderson's legacy and product quality. A deal was finalized between Balraj, Jan, and Racy Sidhu to integrate Sanderson Concrete into the BM Group of Companies, joining a local network of over 18 synergetic businesses. This successful transition allowed Jan and Jamie to retire.
In 2024, BM Group acquired APS Precast and its state-of-the-art 8-acre manufacturing facility—a site with even greater capabilities than the Surrey location Svend's purchased 30 years prior. Today, Sanderson operates alongside APS as a premier, well-established precast fabricator renowned for exceptional quality.
