Sanderson Concrete offers six standard square planter models ranging from compact 24" units to large 60" square planters. Models include S2418, S2424, S3630, S3636, S4842, and S6032, providing options for entrances, patios, streetscapes, plazas, trees, and large commercial landscape projects.

Standard square planter weights range from approximately 340 lb for the compact S2418 model to approximately 2,400 lb for the extra-large S6032. Larger models provide the substantial mass required for permanent commercial, municipal, and high-traffic landscape installations.

Square concrete planter boxes are commonly used in commercial plazas, municipal streetscapes, retail entrances, strata amenity areas, parkade entrances, institutional sites, university campuses, transit environments, and civic courtyards. Their flat sides and right-angle corners work particularly well with architectural grids, paving patterns, and walls.

Larger models such as the S3636, S4842, and S6032 provide increased planter volume for trees, feature planting, ornamental shrubs, and other substantial landscape installations. The S6032 measures 60" × 60" × 32" and is the largest standard square planter in the series.

Larger and taller square planters are commonly specified where substantial planter mass, pedestrian separation, perimeter definition, and passive vehicle mitigation are required alongside landscaping. Models such as the S3636 and S4842 are particularly suited to high-traffic commercial and municipal environments.

Yes. Sanderson Concrete's square precast concrete planters are manufactured for long-term exterior use and are designed to perform through BC's freeze-thaw cycles and demanding high-traffic conditions.

Six standard finishes are available: Standard Grey Exposed Aggregate, Charcoal Exposed Aggregate, Green Exposed Aggregate, Terra Cotta Exposed Aggregate, Brown Exposed Aggregate, and Light Sandblast. These options allow the planters to coordinate with surrounding architecture and hardscape materials.

Yes. The square planter series includes integrated drainage and concealed lifting inserts to support planting performance as well as handling, delivery, and accurate placement on commercial job sites.

Yes. Technical drawings are available for the standard square planter models. Architects, landscape architects, contractors, municipalities, and project teams can use the drawings to review dimensions and specifications before ordering.

Yes. In addition to the six standard models, custom dimensions and project quantities can be reviewed. Provide the required dimensions, quantity, preferred finish, and delivery location when requesting a quote so the Sanderson team can assess the project.
